How to craft marbled easter eggs? It's definitely one for outside or just before bath time!
You will need:
Shaving Cream.
Food colouring or Poster Paint.
Card/Thick Paper.
Kitchen Roll.
Scraper/Ruler
Step 1:
I started off with food colouring but preferred it better with small blobs of poster paint.

Use different colours together to get a multi coloured marble effect.
Make sure to use an easy to wipe surface!
Step 2:
Drag a cotton bud or cocktail stick through the foam to make swirls or a marble effect and then press the paper down onto the foam.

Step 3:
Then lift off. You can scrape off the foam with a squeegee. (I used a ruler instead). I decided to add more foam and a few blobs of blue paint instead.

Step 4:
After a bit of experimenting I found it easier to lay the cut out egg on a piece of kitchen roll. Then place a piece of kitchen roll on top, pressing down to gently bolt the excess shaving foam.

Either pre-cut the paper, or marble a full sheet and then let it dry before cutting into shape.
Result:
The paper smells nice! For those not brave enough to attempt this with the kids, you could always have fun yourself and make a few sheets of marbled effect paper and let them cut out Easter egg shapes!

Happy Easter to all that celebrate. We hope you have fun crafting these marbled eggs!
